Engagement Session | Lions Valley Park, Oakville
It was a joy and a privilege to photograph my cousin’s engagement to her partner Andrew. Both have a strong love and connection to nature, so it was only fitting to find a location with plenty of it. Thanks to the shelter of the valley, Lions Valley Park was still hanging on to the last leg of autumn.
While a genuine smile is beautiful to photograph, I’m particularly fond of the serious mood in some of these images. Clara and Andrew remind me of a classic folk duo (they are both very talented musicians) so I leaned into that vibe for the style of edit.
