Re:Visited Pt. III - A Positive Change

The last week or so I have been feeling a positive change in a few ways. I try to avoid negative thinking in general but the last couple of years and the last few months have been especially difficult. COVID has brought a heavy weight to everyone’s shoulders.

That being said, some self-reflection sparked a motivation to work on my photography portfolio and work toward building up my professional presence in the medium. In turn, I have found a lot of positives have followed. I have a revamped website that I feel suits my personality, I have received feedback from close friends that has fuelled my confidence, and I am genuinely excited to create photos again.

So thank you to everyone who has talked to me about my ideas and given me feedback over the last few days. If anyone out there has any kind of positive momentum or experience, cling on to it, reflect on it, and build on it. Share it with your community (while socially distancing of course). With tough months ahead, I think all of us would benefit from encouragement and support.

The photos below are a result of my positive momentum. Re:Visited is a series that takes a look at work I created in
Iceland back in 2016 and gives me a chance to see how far I’ve come in my style and editing abilities. You can find more of these “before and after” photos here (Pt. I) and here (Pt. 2) or go back to my main blog page and click on any of the Re:Visited posts.
